"Took our girls to a few games last year and our middle one loved it. She hollers for 20 minutes all 3 periods. We started going to a game once a month this year and a few weeks ago bought 4 season tickets and do not plan to miss a game. It’s our little daddy/daughter thing to do. When they first came I thought “it’s just minor league hockey, how good can the be. Who would want to come to Monroe to play hockey?” But if you gave me the choice between the Dallas Stars and our boys I would rather see “our boys” play every day of the week. They are so much fun to watch, you can see they love to play. They are always in the community and available for the fans. And the fans are really enjoying the hockey play itself. Most of the people I talk to about the team it’s always the hockey play first (and of course fighting second). Y’all keep up the great work. "Last season I was introduced to the Moccasins when they played the Danville Dashers. Their away jersey was one of the most beautiful sweaters I have ever seen. A mantra I try to live by is "I'm not here for a long time so might as well have a good time." I want new experiences while I'm able to so after seeing another hockey game on a Friday night I drove 12 hours through the night to get to the Snake Pit for the home opener. The fan tailgate was on point and the atmosphere inside the Snake Pit was unlike anything I have ever experienced.
